Fertilization & Weed Control Programs

Warm Season Grass Type: (Bermuda and Zoysia)

Our first application of the season includes both pre-emergent weed controls and post-emergent weed controls to aid in the prevention of broadleaf weeds and annual crabgrass.  We also apply high potassium fertilizer for root development.  Grassy weed controls are applied as needed.
A second treatment of pre and post emergent weed controls will be applied at this time.  An application of our high nitrogen fertilizer will also be added to insure a quicker green-up.
A granular time released fertilizer to enhance the color of your lawn will be applied at this time.  Post emergent weed control applied as needed.  (Great time to aerate the lawn with this application)
To ensure your lawn maintains that green and healthy appearance, we apply another granular slow release fertilizer at this time. Post emergent weed control applied as needed.
A liquid pre-emergent weed control is applied at this time.  High potassium fertilizer is also in the mix to promote strong root growth.
This application consists of both pre and post emergent weed controls to aid in the prevention of winter annual weeds.
This application of pelletized limestone will condition the soil and help balance the pH level so that the turf can manage our fertilizers more efficiently.  Grassy and broadleaf weed controls are also applied as needed.

Cool Season Grass Type (Fescue)

Our first application of the season consists of a high nitrogen fertilizer as well as both pre and post emergent weed controls. This treatment will enhance the color of your fescue grass and will aid in the prevention and control of broadleaf weeds and annual crabgrass.
This application provides your fescue with the fertilizer and nutrients necessary to stay green and healthy. Also included is the second treatment of pre and post emergent weed controls to help protect against summer annual weeds.
June/July is the most difficult time of year to maintain fescue grass due to summer related stress. We apply a fungicide to lawn to combat Brown Patch and other fungus from damaging the turf.
This application consists of palletized limestone. Limestone helps condition and balance the soils pH level so that your turf will use our fertilizers more efficiently.
This is the absolute best time to core aerate and over-seed your fescue lawn. We will apply a balanced fertilizer to aid in the germination of the fescue. This application will also help your established fescue grass repair itself from damage caused by summer stress.
The last application of the year consists of a granular balanced fertilizer that will provide nutrients needed to promote healthy root structure and balanced growth over the winter months.
